Section 9.4.9

INSPECTION:

Manufactured homes are considered by the city to be less durable and less resistant to deterioration than are conventional homes; therefore, all manufactured homes which are used for human habitation, whether conforming or nonconforming, and whether located in manufactured home parks, shall be subject to the following special regulations:
1. Certificate Of Compliance Required: A certificate of compliance is required for all manufactured homes within the city whether occupied or awaiting occupancy; and may be obtained following an inspection wherein the home is found to meet safety, sanitary and structural standards and is substantial, compared to new or original construction.
2. Revocation Of Certificate Of Compliance: Upon revoking of a certificate of compliance, or a finding of noncompliance, the building inspector shall order the deficiencies corrected and a certificate of compliance obtained within thirty (30) days.
3. Order Of Vacation And Removal: If such deficiencies are not corrected, or cannot be corrected, the manufactured home shall be ordered vacated and removed from the premises upon which located, and shall not thereafter be used for human habitation within the city unless all deficiencies are corrected and a certificate of compliance obtained. All costs that are incurred shall be the responsibility of the owner. (Ord. 99-7, 8-3-1999)
