Welcome to the Duchesne City Utilities page. The City is committed to providing reliable services to all residents within city limits. We manage the essential water and sewer infrastructure, ensuring quality and efficiency for our community.
Water Service (Culinary Water)
Duchesne City’s culinary water is sourced from Starvation Reservoir. This service is available to property owners located within city limits. Water usage is billed monthly based on the number of thousands of gallons used, ensuring you only pay for what you consume.
Garbage and Sanitation
Garbage collection services in Duchesne are managed by a third-party provider. However, for the convenience of our residents, these sanitation fees are consolidated onto your monthly utility bill. This streamlined approach allows you to manage your water, sewer, and garbage accounts through a single, easy payment.
Billing and Payments
All utility services (Water, Sewer, and Garbage) are combined into one bill. These statements are sent to you via the United States Postal Service (physical mail). To avoid late fees, please ensure payment is received by the 20th of each month.
Residents have several options to pay their bill:
- Online: Pay quickly and securely 24/7 using a credit/debit card or bank account. You can also set up recurring payments through the online portal.
- In Person: Visit the Duchesne City Office during business hours.

New Service Connections
If you are a new resident or need to turn on an existing connection, please visit the City Office or the official city website to fill out a utility application. You must be a property owner within city limits to establish service.
Note: For specific questions regarding your garbage pickup schedule or container needs, please contact the third-party hauler directly, as the City primarily manages the billing component only.
